Trastevere

Description

Trastevere is named for the district that was once Rome’s bakery, and the perfume takes that literally. Vanilla opens it in a rush, liquorice cutting through with something dark and faintly medicinal, and the heart is caramel and jasmine together, sweet and floral at once. Chestnut cream and davana close it, nutty and soft, the davana adding a boozy fruit edge that keeps the sugar in check. Warm, gourmand and very hard to stop smelling.
