Grapefruit and rhubarb open it sharp and slightly sour, which is unusual — most compositions sweeten the top rather than cut it. Vetiver runs underneath from the beginning, and the base turns warm late: tobacco, amber and benzoin. Superclassique in name, but the structure is anything but polite.
