Description
The hot wind off Africa, and the only one of the four that opens on patchouli rather than citrus — earthy from the first second, with lavender and bergamot around it. Ginger, thyme and cardamom heat the middle, iris cooling it, and oakmoss, vetiver and ebony make a base that is properly chypre. Dry, dark and the least sweet in the line.
