Bake

Description

Bake is unapologetically edible. Lemon zest and rum open it sharp and boozy, the citrus keeping things in check before the sugar arrives. Then it does: whipped cream and praline fill the heart, soft and buttery, closer to a bakery counter than to a perfume. Brown sugar and vanilla finish it warm and sticky. It smells like a lemon cake still cooling, and it is deliberately sweet — if gourmands are not your thing, this one will not convert you. If they are, it is very hard to stop smelling your own wrist.
