Positano

Description

Positano seen from the water, with the town stacked up the cliff behind you. Lemon and orange open it bright — Amalfi citrus, sharper and more bitter than most — with a salt breeze running through. The heart is the hillside: lavender, rosemary, laurel and thyme, herbs baking in the sun. Cedarwood, moss and sage close it dry and green. An aromatic citrus with no sweetness anywhere, and the easiest of the range to wear all summer.
