Description
Quentin Bisch opens Red Shield with honey and black pepper — sweetness and heat at once — then lets cedar and ambrette dry the mixture before it can turn syrupy. The heart is the reason to wear it: iris and a supple leather accord, vetiver underneath, freesia keeping the leather from going severe. Vanilla, tonka and amber close it warm and rounded, and the musk carries it well into the evening. Sweet and leathery in equal measure, and unisex in the way good leathers usually are.
