Alexis Dadier named this one for the Tuscan hills in autumn, when the fields turn into waves of gold — onda d’oro. Labdanum opens it resinous with a citrus glint on top, and the heart is the interesting part: suede against iris, one soft and hide-like, the other powdery and cool. Amber, vanilla, musk and patchouli finish it smooth and sensual. A leather about craftsmanship rather than smoke.
