Description
Akragas is Sicily rendered literally. Sicilian myrtle and Mediterranean seaweed open it green and briny, with grapefruit and Sicilian neroli cutting through the salt. The heart keeps the coast in view — Sicilian salt, Atlas cedar, red thyme and Bulgarian geranium, aromatic and sun-warmed rather than fresh. Musk, benzoin, Singapore patchouli and Madagascar vanilla berries settle underneath and turn the mineral opening soft. An aquatic with herbs and resin instead of the usual clean accord.
