Arrakis

Description

Named for a desert and built like one. Bergamot, lemon and grapefruit open it sharp, but osmanthus, saffron, thyme and rosemary immediately pull it toward something drier and more aromatic. The heart is smoke and earth — vetiver, tobacco, guaiac wood and patchouli, with no sweetness to soften them. Tonka bean, amber, musk and Cambodian oud close it warm and resinous. Masculine in feel though not by rule, and best in cold weather where the tobacco has room to show.
