Casanova

Description

Casanova opens powdery, with fig leaf, orchid, bergamot and jasmine — soft and slightly green before the composition turns. The heart is where it gains character: leather and myrrh with cardamom, guaiac wood and pink pepper, vanilla and ambergris keeping the leather supple rather than harsh. White musk, ambroxan, cedar, amber, vetiver, tonka bean and oakmoss make up a long, dry finish. Refined and close to the skin, more suggestive than assertive — which suits the name.
