Description

Deriva opens on a pairing that shouldn’t work — lavender and pineapple — with Calabrian bergamot and cardamom holding them together, aromatic and juicy at the same time. Singapore patchouli anchors the heart, with geranium, pink pepper, raspberry and gardenia around it, so the fruit reads dark rather than bright. Palisander rosewood, tobacco leaf, Australian sandalwood, tonka bean and Madagascar vanilla give it a long, warm finish. Unusual, well balanced, and better in cool weather.
