Musk of Flowers is exactly what the name offers, without complication. Fruity notes and grapefruit open it bright, then the bouquet arrives: rose, jasmine, orange blossom and violet, dusted with sugar so the flowers read soft rather than sharp. White musk and sandalwood take over from there and stay close to the skin for hours. A 2011 composition by Pierre Montale, and one of the gentler things in the catalogue.
