Oud is in the opening, not the base — saffron, cardamom and bergamot around it, hot and medicinal from the first minute. Leather and pepper carry the middle, and ambergris alone closes it, salty and skin-warm. No fruit, no flowers, nothing to make it easier. The most traditional Middle Eastern composition in the collection.
