Rose Réglisse

Description

Rose Réglisse takes the most classical flower in perfumery and puts it somewhere unexpected. Star anise opens it — sweet, cool and faintly medicinal — before the Rose de Grasse arrives, the finest rose material available and instantly recognisable. Litchi and violet sit around it, the litchi fruity and juicy, the violet powdery and cool. The base is where the name is earned: a gourmand accord built on liquorice essence, dark and salty-sweet, giving the rose a shadow it does not usually have. Bold, unisex, and nothing like a conventional rose fragrance.
