Description
Aldehydes give Borelli an old-school shimmer from the first spray, with Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian mandarin and Indian frangipani beneath them. The heart is properly classical — tuberose, lily of the valley, Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang and Italian violet — the kind of bouquet that reads formal in the best sense. Tuscan birch and African ebony give the base a dry, slightly smoky backbone, with musk, Australian sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla softening the finish. Elegant and unhurried.
