Description
Dubhe carries one of the longest lists in the range and uses it to build something heavy and deliberate. Black pepper, saffron, leather and a raw earth note open it, with Tolu balsam, thyme and bay laurel adding a herbal, balsamic edge and ozonic notes cutting a little air through the density. The heart is spice and flowers together — red pepper, carnation, peony, magnolia and sage — with honey turning sticky and animalic against frankincense. Amber, patchouli, musk, sandalwood and oud close it resinous and long-lasting. Cold weather, evenings, and worn sparingly.
