White ginger lily and Bulgarian rose open it alongside artemisia, Calabrian bergamot, peach and saffron — the saffron and artemisia adding a bitter, spiced edge so the flowers never read sugary. The heart is the heart of the fragrance: jasmine sambac, orange blossom, Chinese peony, violet and lily-of-the-valley, with guaiac wood keeping a dry, smoky line underneath.
