Description
Uxalpha begins as a citrus and ends as a dessert. Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian orange and pink grapefruit open it sharp and bright; Cuban cedarwood, coconut and labdanum turn the middle creamy; and the base — ambergris, bourbon vanilla, Turkish caramel and red patchouli — is frankly gourmand. The trick is the transition: the citrus stays audible under the caramel far longer than expected, which keeps it from cloying. 100 ml.
