Art Deco Majestic Musk

Description

The Majestic Musk opens sparkling — pink peppercorn and bergamot, bright and a little fizzy. The heart turns aromatic and powdery at once: juniper and elemi bring a dry, resinous edge, while heliotrope softens everything into almond-tinged powder. The base is where it becomes intimate: iris keeps the coolness, sandalwood and tonka bean add creaminess, and suede gives the whole thing a musky, skin-like texture rather than a woody one. Part of the Art Deco line, in a white and gold openwork bottle. Sensual, refined and closer to the skin than most musks.
