Description

A short list, used precisely. Rose opens alongside black and pink pepper, so the flower arrives already sharpened rather than sweet. The heart is the unusual part: green bell pepper, which reads vegetal and slightly raw, set against agarwood and birch — the birch adding a tarry, smoky edge that most rose fragrances never go near. Ambergris, vanilla and musk close it warm and rounded, softening the whole thing at the end. Distinctive, and far less conventional than a rose-oud usually is.
