Description
Cri du Kalahari is built as a straight vertical line — six notes and no detours. Green pepper and orris open it sharp and cool, the pepper almost stinging. Baobab and cedarwood make the heart woody and dry, an attempt to bottle the smell of the tree itself. Sandalwood and patchouli close it, creamy against those dry woods. Spare, powerful and unmistakably a woody: the simplest structure in the collection and one of the strongest.
