Description
Delox opens on coffee — bitter and roasted — with iris and white hyacinth giving it a cool, powdery contrast from the first minute. Turkish rose fills the heart alongside vanilla and opoponax, the resin adding a balsamic warmth that makes the rose feel older and richer than it would alone. Honey, white musk, amber and cedar close it sweet and slightly sticky, with the cedar keeping the sweetness in check. A gourmand with a floral spine, and one of the more distinctive coffee fragrances around. As a candle it carries the same accord into a room — coffee and iris over rose and vanilla, on honey, white musk and amber — burning slowly and evenly. 170 g.
