Description
Gold completes the trilogy Antoine Lie began with Black and White, and it is the richest of the three. The ingredient list reads like an inventory of origins — green mandarin from Italy, bergamot from Calabria, pink peppercorn from Réunion, clove buds from Madagascar over jasmine and cistus absolutes, and a base running through styrax, benzoin, myrrh, patchouli, Madagascar vanilla and Haitian vetiver. The visual idea was a metallised Mondrian: shades of gold laid out in a balanced pattern rather than piled up.
