Description
Harmattan takes its name from the dry wind that crosses West Africa, and it is the driest fragrance in the house. Cedar leaf, bergamot and lavender open it sharp and herbal, closer to a classical fougère than to a modern niche opening. Geranium, pink pepper and ambroxan make the heart clean and mineral. Leather, patchouli and vetiver close it dusty and dark. No sweetness anywhere — the whole thing reads like hot air over sand.
