Opardu

Description

Annie Buzantian wrote Opardu as a memory of Paris nightlife in an earlier era, and the perfume has the velvet quality of that idea. Lilac and carnation open it powdery and old-fashioned in the best sense, jasmine, tuberose and rose fill the heart until it is genuinely lush, and musk with sandalwood and vanilla holds it all in place. Full, hypnotic and unmistakably a perfume rather than a fragrance — which is the whole point.
