Description
Dorothee Piot skips the usual citrus opening entirely: Bright Red begins on cashmere wood, soft and slightly powdery, and stays woody from the first minute. The heart is where it gains weight, with incense and vetiver drawn around a rose that reads smoky rather than sweet, and sandalwood smoothing the edges between them. Patchouli, cedar and musk close it out, dry and long-wearing. A woody, incense-driven scent worn by men and women alike, better suited to cold weather and evenings than to bright afternoons.
