Description
Fancy Red opens with pink pepper against bitter orange, mandarin and bergamot — citrus with an edge rather than a sweet one. The heart is a simple, confident pairing: jasmine and ylang-ylang, creamy and slightly banana-like as ylang tends to be, with the jasmine keeping it luminous. Cedar, amberwood and akigalawood finish it dry and peppery, so the flowers never turn heavy. Light enough for daytime, structured enough not to disappear after an hour, and worn comfortably by both men and women.
