Description
Flame of Gold is Dominique Ropion working with warmth rather than freshness — there is no citrus opening at all. Amber and musk start it soft and enveloping, and patchouli with Virginia cedar give the middle its structure, earthy and architectural at once. The drydown is the reason to wear it: leather and vanilla together, the vanilla rounding the leather, the leather keeping the vanilla from turning edible. An oriental woody scent with real density, made for cold evenings and worn by men and women alike.
