Description
Purple Flowers is spicier than the name promises. Fig tree opens it green and milky, then black pepper, ginger and nutmeg arrive with Sicilian mandarin and turn the whole thing warm. Rose is the only real flower in the heart, set against patchouli and cedar, and the base — white musk, Madagascar vanilla and ambergris — is soft, animalic and long-lasting. An oriental floral that spends more time on the spice than the bouquet.
