Description
Raffaello opens with absinthe — green, herbaceous, almost balsamic — and that single note carries the whole first hour. The heart is spice: tonka bean with black and pink pepper, warm against the herbal bitterness. Then the perfume changes character entirely, into leather, teak wood and patchouli, robust and dry, closer to a workshop than a studio. Composed in 2013 for the painter buried in the Pantheon itself, and the longevity is considerable.
