Also from the Limited Art Collection, produced in 1,920 numbered bottles. Elemi and pink pepper open it resinous and peppery, with peony adding a cool floral edge that softens the start. The heart is the surprise: black licorice with incense and white musk — anise-sweet, smoky and clean at once, a combination that should not sit together and does. Labdanum, benzoin, agarwood, sandalwood and patchouli close it dense and balsamic. Serious, unusual, and made for cold evenings.
