Description
Come il Sole opens on cherry — sweet and slightly almondy — with bergamot cutting through it, a combination that reads bright before the fragrance turns serious. The heart is a full white bouquet: ylang-ylang and jasmine with carnation adding a peppery, clove-like spice and lily-of-the-valley keeping it green. The base is where the weight arrives: Peru balsam, benzoin, labdanum and styrax with tonka bean and vanilla, and oud, patchouli and vetiver underneath for depth. Warm, resinous and made for cold weather.
