Art Deco Majestic Vetiver

Description

The Majestic Vetiver is the Riviera rather than the desert. Grapefruit opens it sharp and juicy, with basil and cardamom adding a herbal, faintly peppery lift. The heart turns earthy: coriander and liatris, the latter a hay-like material with a coumarin sweetness that keeps the greenness from turning harsh. Then vetiver takes over in full — rooty, smoky and dry — with oud wood, suede and labdanum giving it depth and a soft leathery finish. The green glass bottle with openwork detailing is part of the Art Deco line. Fresh at the top, serious underneath.
