Description
Oriental Enigma opens soft and slightly unsettling — candied date and hazelnut with hibiscus, gourmand but never straightforward, and tonka bean underneath. Then orris takes over: powdery and cool, guided by saffron’s golden bitterness and a rum note that adds a boozy warmth. The base is denser and more vertical, cedarwood blending into a carnal vanilla that sits close to the skin. Part of the Art Nouveau line, in a bottle sculpted like a mask. Ambiguous by design — sweet and shadowed at the same time, and one of the more distinctive gourmands around.
