Jordi Fernandez opens Walk on the Wild Side with saffron, pink pepper and ginger against a green cypress note — spicy and bracing at the same time. Jasmine, iris and white amber form a heart that is floral but never soft, the iris keeping it cool and slightly powdery. The base is where the name earns itself: leather with Haitian vetiver, and a caramel note that sweetens the leather just enough to make it wearable rather than austere.
