Description
Roses Jasmine is a real chypre, of the sort that had gone out of fashion by the time it was made. Pear and grass open it green and juicy, with lemon and mandarin sharpening the edges. Jasmine and rose take the heart as promised, patchouli and orange blossom underneath, and then the structure shows itself: oakmoss, cedar and white musk, dry and mossy, holding the flowers up rather than sweetening them.
