Description
Zubenel starts drier than a gourmand usually does — ambrette, frankincense and ambergris give it an almost incense-like opening. Then the chocolate arrives: dark and unsweetened, propped up by bourbon vanilla and more ambergris. Australian sandalwood, birch, caramel and Indian patchouli finish it, the birch adding a faint smokiness that stops the caramel turning sticky. A cold-weather fragrance that stays close to the skin rather than filling a room. 100 ml.
